Goodbye (officially) for now, blogspot.
Tumblr is too much cooler than you.

New Year

It's 2010!
(even though I feel lame for writing this on January 2 instead of January 1)

I feel like I have to write an entry about 2009, even if it's short.
2009 was, in some ways, my best year thus far and in other ways, my worst. I had plenty of genuinely happy moments  and laughs, as well as plenty of negative situations that I was thrown into that I didn't deserve, but I think it was the year of me growing up the most, in more ways than one, for both of those reasons.

Here's to not only 2010, but the new decade--to making new memories, to new and old relationships, to growing, to changing my life for the better.

Christmas Wishlist

I can't believe Christmas is only eight days away. Weird! As pointless as I know this is, I want to post a wishlist. Just for fun.
So, in no particular order...

-Mastering the Art of French Cooking (Volumes 1 and 2)

Okay, I admit that this was definitely inspired by the movie, Julie & Julia, but I really am genuinely passionate when it comes to learning about and eating food (sometimes maybe a little too much...). Also, French food is amazing, and the fact that it's a cookbook almost 50 years old makes it more appealing. I couldn't really tell you why.

-Canon Rebel XSi

The perfect starter SLR camera for photography. For me, anyway. I've always liked taking pictures and looking at good photography, and now I want my turn to try it. I have my small point-and-shoot, which is convenient and perfectly fine for now, but it just won't cut it for actual photography. If only this wasn't so expensive.

-iPod Touch

I've actually never owned an iPod, in the seven or so years that Apple has sold them. I don't think very many people can say that (or maybe I'm just being paranoid about my mp3 player technology outdated-ness). It'd be nice to have one though.

-Sonic Bomb Alarm Clock with Bed Shaker

I don't really want this as much as I need it. Thankfully, I don't have to wake up at 6:00am everyday like during high school, but I still have a really hard time waking up. Not just in the morning either--it applies to any other time of day, regardless of how many hours of sleep I've had beforehand. So with its 113 decibel alarm tone and bed vibrating unit, I figure that this is the only thing that stands a chance against my heavy sleeping. (Fyi, 60 db is an average conversation, and 120 db is a jet aircraft taking off)

-New laptop

Sigh, I'm such a nerd. I don't think it's normal for girls to care about their computer's operating system, type of processor, processor speed, amount of RAM, and graphics card. But the thing is...I do. I spend way too much of my time at home in front of the computer, on the internet or playing games. It would be really, really cool to have a laptop that had specs that I was happy with. (...at least I still manage to have a good social life, right?)

-Money

Ah, the inevitable. Because let's face it. Anyone who has a Christmas wishlist would love to have a pile of money to check everything off themselves. Other than the things already on this list, I would spend the money on more generic things, like clothes, shoes, makeup, textbooks, and food. Oh, and the repair costs to get my flute fixed. I miss playing my flute.

I feel so materialistic. Everything on my wishlist makes me look so greedy :(
I'll end with something that money cannot buy...

-Taylor Lautner

Taylor, I would've put up one of the many pictures of you with your shirt off from New Moon, but I don't want to come off as if you're on this list only for your abs. Because you're also on this list due to your face, the rest of your body, personal style, cool karate skills, and general borderline boy-man cuteness hahahahaha. One day, you'll see that Taylor Swift is not meant for you; maybe this Christmas, if I'm lucky.

That was by far my longest post on blogspot. I hope that makes up for my previous blogging fail.

Laziness

This is so sad. I'm too lazy to even blog.

All I've been doing the last few days is seeing friends and eating tons of food. I guess that's not a bad thing, for the most part. Until I get fatter. Or get diabetes.
Lol, I've lost my will to blog temporarily. I'll be back when I have something to say :)

New beginning?

There's something about a first entry to a blog that's just so...awkward. Mind you, this one will probably be no different. I wish I had some cool, interesting definitive concept to what my blog is going to be about, like Julie does in Julia & Julia.

Where do I even start anyway? I have no idea.

But since this post really has no point, I guess I'll end this with my response/counter attack to Robert's declaring of the blog war that was meant to make me start blogging on here.

Now he's probably going to come up with some really funny and witty, and I'll probably lose. Go me! :)
